A question commonly asked is what are the effects of icemelt on concrete?
Icemelters which contain aluminum chloride, ammonium sulfate, calcium sulfate, magnesium chloride (MAG), ammonium nitrate, ammonium chloride, magnesium sulfate or sodium cyanide, will attack concrete and are best avoided.
